מי אנחנו
גן־בית נולדה מתוך רגע הורי פשוט: הרצון לתת לילדים שלנו את הזמן ואת הפעילויות הקטנות שבונים התפתחות, בלי לחץ ובלי התחושה שצריך "לעמוד בקצב". חיפשנו דרך פשוטה לדעת מה מתאים היום, ולשמור את הרגעים הקטנים כדי לזכור אותם, ולא מצאנו, אז יצרנו אותה. גן־בית פותחה על ידי הורים, מתוך אהבה.
העיקרון המנחה: המידע נשאר אצלכם
גן־בית בנויה סביב פרטיות. כברירת מחדל, כל המידע האישי שאתם מזינים נשמר מקומית במכשיר שלכם בלבד. איננו אוספים אותו, איננו רואים אותו, ואיננו שולחים אותו לשרת שלנו. אין באפליקציה פרסומות ואין מעקב שמזהה אתכם. אנחנו כן אוספים נתוני שימוש אנונימיים ומצרפיים כדי להבין כיצד משתמשים באפליקציה ולשפר אותה, כפי שמפורט בהמשך.
חשוב לנו שתדעו: אין צורך בהרשמה, בהתחברות או בזיהוי כלשהו. גן־בית לא מבקשת מכם חשבון, כתובת אימייל או סיסמה. הפרטים היחידים שאתם מזינים הם שם התינוק/ת, כדי שנפנה אליו/ה בשמו/ה במסכי האפליקציה, ותאריך הלידה, כדי להתאים את הפעילויות לגיל המדויק. זהו, שום דבר מעבר לכך.
איזה מידע נשמר במכשיר
- שם התינוק/ת ותאריך הלידה, שמזינים בעת ההגדרה.
- הערות אישיות שאתם בוחרים לכתוב לצד פעילויות.
- תמונות שתבחרו לצרף לזיכרונות (בגרסאות שתומכות בכך).
- העדפות באפליקציה, כגון שעת התזכורת היומית והאם היא מופעלת.
המידע משמש אך ורק כדי להציג לכם את התוכן בתוך האפליקציה ולשמור את יומן ההתפתחות שלכם.
נתוני שימוש אנונימיים
כדי להבין איך משתמשים באפליקציה ולשפר אותה, גן־בית אוספת נתוני שימוש אנונימיים ומצרפיים: אילו מסכים ותכונות נמצאים בשימוש, למשל שפעילות הושלמה או שזיכרון שותף. הנתונים אינם מזוהים אתכם, אינם משמשים למעקב אחריכם בין אפליקציות או שירותים, ואינם כוללים תוכן אישי: לא את שם התינוק/ת, לא את ההערות שכתבתם ולא את התמונות שצירפתם.
העיבוד נעשה באמצעות שירות ניתוח חיצוני וממוקד פרטיות בשם TelemetryDeck. עדיין אין באפליקציה פרסומות ואין מעקב שמזהה אתכם.
סנכרון לענן (אופציונלי)
בגרסאות שתומכות בסנכרון בין מכשירים, תוכלו לבחור לאחסן עותק של המידע שלכם בחשבון הענן הפרטי שלכם של הפלטפורמה: ב־iOS דרך חשבון ה־iCloud הפרטי שלכם של Apple. במצב זה המידע נשמר בחשבון הפרטי שלכם, מוגן על ידי הפלטפורמה, ונגיש רק לכם. גם אז איננו ניגשים למידע שלכם ואיננו מאחסנים אותו אצלנו.
הערה לגבי Android: כאשר נוסיף סנכרון ב־Android, הוא יישמר על אותו עיקרון, אחסון בחשבון הענן הפרטי שלכם ללא גישה שלנו למידע. נעדכן מדיניות זו כך שתתאר במדויק את המנגנון, לפני שהתכונה תופעל.
משוב (פנייה יזומה שלכם)
אם תבחרו לשלוח לנו משוב מתוך האפליקציה, ייפתח יישום הדואר שלכם עם הודעה מוכנה. כדי לעזור לנו להבין את ההקשר, ההודעה כוללת את גרסת האפליקציה, דגם המכשיר וטווח הגיל של התינוק/ת. ההודעה נשלחת רק אם תבחרו לשלוח אותה, מתוך חשבון הדואר שלכם. מלבד תוכן ההודעה שאתם בוחרים לכתוב, היא אינה כוללת את שם התינוק/ת ואת ההערות האישיות שכתבתם לצד הפעילויות.
שיתוף
אם תבחרו לשתף זיכרון או תמונה מתוך האפליקציה (בגרסאות שתומכות בכך), אתם שולחים את התוכן ליעד או לאפליקציה שאתם בוחרים. מרגע השיתוף, התוכן כפוף למדיניות הפרטיות של אותו שירות או נמען, ואינו בשליטתנו.
מידע על ילדים
גן־בית מיועדת לשימוש על ידי הורים ומטפלים בוגרים, לא על ידי ילדים. המידע על התינוק/ת שאתם מזינים נשמר במכשיר שלכם (ובחשבון הענן הפרטי שלכם, אם הפעלתם סנכרון), ואינו נאסף על ידינו. אתם, כהורים או אפוטרופוסים, שולטים במידע זה ויכולים למחוק אותו בכל עת.
מחיקת מידע ושליטה
- תוכלו לערוך או למחוק את פרטי התינוק/ת מתוך מסך ההגדרות.
- הסרת האפליקציה מהמכשיר מוחקת את כל המידע המקומי.
- אם הפעלתם סנכרון לענן, מחיקת המידע מחשבון הענן הפרטי שלכם מתבצעת דרך הגדרות הענן של הפלטפורמה.
אבטחה
המידע נשמר במכשיר שלכם ומוגן באמצעי האבטחה של מערכת ההפעלה. בסנכרון לענן, המידע מוגן על ידי חשבון הענן הפרטי שלכם. שימו לב שאף שיטת אחסון אינה בטוחה לחלוטין, ואיננו יכולים להבטיח אבטחה מוחלטת.
שינויים במדיניות
נעדכן מדיניות זו אם תכונות האפליקציה ישתנו, למשל עם הוספת תמונות, סנכרון או שיתוף. תאריך העדכון האחרון יופיע בראש המסמך, ושינוי מהותי יוצג גם בתוך האפליקציה.

Who we are
GanBayit (גן־בית) was born from a simple parenting moment: the wish to give our children the time and the small activities that build development, without pressure and without the feeling that you have to "keep up." We looked for an easy way to know what fits today, and to keep the little moments so we could remember them, and we couldn't find one, so we created it. GanBayit was made by parents, out of love.
The guiding principle: your data stays with you
GanBayit is built around privacy. By default, all the personal information you enter is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect it, we cannot see it, and we do not send it to any server of ours. The app has no advertising and no tracking that identifies you. We do collect anonymous, aggregate usage data to understand how the app is used and to improve it, as described below.
One thing we want you to know: there is no sign-up, no login, and no identification of any kind. GanBayit never asks you for an account, an email address, or a password. The only details you enter are your child's name, so the app can address them by name on screen, and their date of birth, so activities can be tailored to their exact age. That's it, nothing beyond that.
What is stored on your device
- Your child's name and date of birth, entered during setup.
- Personal notes you choose to write alongside activities.
- Photos you choose to attach to memories (in versions that support this).
- App preferences, such as the daily reminder time and whether it is on.
This information is used only to show you the content inside the app and to keep your personal development diary.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, GanBayit collects anonymous, aggregate usage data: which screens and features are used, for example that an activity was completed or a memory was shared. This data is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across apps or services, and never includes personal content: not your child's name, not the notes you wrote, and not the photos you attached.
Processing is done through a privacy-focused third-party analytics service called TelemetryDeck. The app still has no advertising and no tracking that identifies you.
Optional cloud sync
In versions that support syncing across devices, you may choose to store a copy of your data in your own private platform cloud account: on iOS, through your private Apple iCloud account. In that case the data is kept in your private account, protected by the platform, and accessible only to you. Even then, we do not access your data and we do not store it on our servers.
Note for Android: when we add sync on Android, it will follow the same principle, storage in your own private cloud account with no access by us. We will update this policy to describe the exact mechanism before the feature is enabled.
Feedback (initiated by you)
If you choose to send us feedback from inside the app, your mail app opens with a prepared message. To help us understand the context, the message includes the app version, your device model, and your child's age range. It is sent only if you choose to send it, from your own email account. Apart from the message you choose to write, it does not include your child's name or the personal notes you wrote alongside activities.
Sharing
If you choose to share a memory or a photo from the app (in versions that support this), you are sending that content to a destination or app you select. Once shared, the content is governed by that service's or recipient's privacy policy and is no longer under our control.
Children's information
GanBayit is intended for use by adult parents and caregivers, not by children. The information about your child that you enter is stored on your device (and in your private cloud account, if you enabled sync) and is not collected by us. You, as the parent or guardian, control this information and can delete it at any time.
Deleting data and your control
- You can edit or delete your child's details from the Settings screen.
- Removing the app from your device deletes all local data.
- If you enabled cloud sync, deleting the data from your private cloud account is done through your platform's cloud settings.
Security
Your data is stored on your device and protected by your operating system's security. With cloud sync, your data is protected by your private cloud account. Please note that no storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the app's features change, for example when photos, sync, or sharing are added. The last-updated date will appear at the top of this document, and a material change will also be surfaced inside the app.
